I have never seen someone doing actual work on a Linux desktop in real life. Only people goofing off transing their desktops instead of doing what they are supposed to be doing. No professional software except for some ported software like Quartus, Vivado, and ModelSim runs on Linux. No SOLIDWORKS, no AutoCAD, no Office, no usable groupware, no Group Policy, no proper ACL support, no Active Directory. You cannot use Linux to do any work that isn't either web development or Linux software development. Linux is literally the peak of soyware.

nigger you well know what I am talking about. I am not talking about Linux used as a server, I am talking about Linux used on a desktop computer. Everyone at my workspace runs Windows but connects to a build server running RHEL to run compile jobs. Big difference. It wouldn't be fair to say everyone "runs Linux" because everyone connects to a Linux server.
