So many of you are mindbroken cult following retards who don't even engage in the development of technology, you just flounder around your shit takes. So many of you will literally not understand something, then jump to the opposing side so you can blame the said entity and not your undisciplined self

Freetards especially don't understand what they're talking about here, you often see them being outright wrong about shit they're sperging about, having never used it, they don't understand the intricacities of what they claim to "critique", and this is to their detriment. I understand sperging about muh jooz and having to pay money for shit, but the solution is not creating a cult, but recreating what the industry developed and then pushed forward. You guys don't have principles, you have a cult that you follow - probably for the social aspect of it, your actual views are loose but your ideology is set in stone, literally like trannies.

I am posting this in the hope that some retard will feel attacked and genuinely reconsider his beliefs, and maybe in the end do something with his life.

explain what im wrong about specifically
am i wrong about your shitty lunix kernel being almost 40% proprietary binary blobs (malware)?
am i wrong about windows and literally any other proprietary program more than 10 people use being malware?
i think not.
i have principles and i don't follow a cult, my principles are freedom and no soydev cancer.
>da jooz are le good or something, paying money is le good
i dont care about having to pay money, but i care about having DRM malware on my computer, i would pay for software if it was free. (and in fact, i DO donate to free software devs from time to time if they do a good job and arent trannies)

>am i wrong about your shitty lunix kernel being almost 40% proprietary binary blobs (malware)?
yes
>am i wrong about windows and literally any other proprietary program more than 10 people use being malware?
yes
>i dont care about having to pay money
BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED *********FREE OF CHARGE*********, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW

 8329

>>8309
pacman -Qi linux
pacman -Qi linux-libre
go see for yourself how many blobs are included in the vanilla lunix kernel
also name a single proprietary program with more than 10 users that isnt malware
>muh warranty
>free of charge
you mean free as in freedom, you can still go and pay for free software, and some companies do this to give businesses a warranty that it will always work, and are obligated to give their customers support if it doesnt work for whatever reason
sure you can go and download the sauce code yourself and compile it from scratch, but if anything breaks you don't get 24/7 support because you didnt pay for it.

>go see for yourself how many blobs are included in the vanilla lunix kernel
idc about "blobs."
>you mean free as in freedom
No. The GPL specifically states that the software MUST be made available free of charge. The GPL does not permit charging for source code like DEC and AT&T did. My freedom should include being able to refuse to redistribute source code. BSD style licenses are actually free and not some GNU/1984 mindtrick where we define freedom to mean restriction. Make sure to license your code with the "or any later GPL version" to give the trannies at the FSF the ability to control the license of your code at their will! Remember to pay your state mandated software tax as specified in the GNU Manifesto!
>also name a single proprietary program with more than 10 users that isnt malware

Intel C++ Compiler
Intel Quartus
Xilinx Vivado
Keil µVision
Microsoft Word 2003
VMWare ESXi
VxWorks
QNX
Windows CE
IBM OS/2, eComStation, ArcaOS
Paint.NET

>durr hurr i dont care about freedom
>the software must be made available free of charge
https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.en.html
>heh theyre ackchyualley free
thats why crapple is so free right?
>long list of proprietary malware
literally everything there is malware kek, especially wintoddler garbage
enjoy your _NSAKEY and all the other undiscovered backdoors
merely the aspect that the software doesnt respect your freedom and does something without asking you, makes it malware.

 8361

>>8356
>literally everything there is malware kek, especially wintoddler garbage
no

retard
>merely the aspect that the software doesnt respect your freedom and does something without asking you, makes it malware.

>>8362
doesnt allow you to modify it and use it how you want

 8367

>>8363
>doesnt allow you to modify it and use it how you want
you are just defining all closed source software as malware.

i don't have any source code so i couldnt modify it even if i wanted to, i don't care about licenses and will redistribute nonfree software under the GPL if i get the source code for it.
