Suppose there is a form of punishment where the prisoner’s brain is stimulated so that the prisoner feels as if he had served a prison time of X number of years, when in reality he had served it for only some seconds. And let’s call this a neural prison.
There comes a point where the time of a singular neural imprisonment becomes so long that it eclipses the extinction of humanity in its pain and suffering, and/or overall negativity.
Therefore, to prevent the creation of this technology is more angelic an act than to save humanity from extinction.
Thoughts?

Why are philosophyniggers like this? Concern yourselves with things that matter

 1426

>>1424
This will matter very much when the technology is developed.

How would that even work given how time isn't even a clearly established concept
>its pain and suffering, and/or overall negativity.
Wtf does this even mean? It's just organisms dying, same thing that's been happening for thousands of years without issue.

 1429

It doesn’t even need to be neural imprisonment. For example it could be uploading onesself to a computer to become a god. The immortality that comes with that would become torturous after the novelty of being divine wears off. Sure, it can be expected that the “gods” would be able to eventually choose to shut themselves down voluntarily, but what if there was a malfunction, or the system refused to do so? Is the risk alone not enough to dissuade someone from uploading? A billion-quadrillion centuries, or even an infinity, of nothingness with no way out? And remember, from infinity’s standpoint, a billion-quadrillion centuries is literally nothing.

I don’t know lol. But I expect this technology to be developed sometime, and it will be used for prison sentencing with the upside that the prisoner will not lose years to live in the real world.
>Wtf does this even mean? It's just organisms dying, same thing that's been happening for thousands of years without issue.
I’m using the extinction of humanity as an example for something that is as evil as possible

 1431

>>1429
if your uploaded to a computer the computer will eventually run out of electrical power retard

 1432

>>1430
How is the extinction of humanity something evil? Why does humanity deserve to exist? What does it mean to exist? How are we then sure humanity exists?
Et cetera et cetera

 1437

>>1431
True, but only with infinity. still you could upload and be there for sextillions of years, and the system could still reject shutting you down and have you live in darkness for an extra septillion years—the damage would still be immeasurable. I’m sure the energy sources of the future, such as a dyson swarm, will be good enough to support this.

This isn’t some vague theoretical. I’m sure that the technology will be used in our lifetimes. These things need to be addressed.

generally, stopping rich "humans" (jews) from obtaining any higher form of technology is a blessed act in itself

>I don’t know lol. But I expect this technology to be developed sometime, and it will be used for prison sentencing with the upside that the prisoner will not lose years to live in the real world
this assumes the primary goal of imprisonment is to punish the criminal, which is false. in reality it is to lock them away from society so they cannot continue to harm others and break the law
the brainvat punishment technique does not account for people who either do not feel remorse for their actions and would commit the same crime as soon as they get out (who need to be locked up for public safety and make up the majority of the prison populace)
