pantalaimon is pretty much impossible to get to work right now because i cant figure out which deps i have to downgrade, probably whole python
matrix-soynapse acks whenever pytroon gets an update but surprisingly gets hotfixed by soydevs afterwards so i wait with the python updates for a few days
nicotine+ works surprisingly well and only acked 2 times for me
random pytranny shit almost never works
youtube-dl kinda works but also breaks sometimes, i moved on to yt-dlp because it broke at some point and the maintained fork worked (what a surprise)
emote broke 6 times, and the rest i dont remember
tl;dr pytroon is hot garbage, just use fucking (ba)sh if you want to script something or C if you want to program something, the border between scripting and programming exists for a reason
or if you dont care about sanity and logic, lua is for you

i want to rip old thinkpad keyboards out of thinkpads and use them as PS/2 keyboards, since they are supposedly using PS/2 internally just without a round fat connector
from what i know, you don't actually have a PS/2 controller on the keyboard itself, but rather on the laptop motherboard so the keyboard is just dead wires
does anybody know how i can build a PS/2 controller (with some 2$ devboard or some shit) or rip one out somewhere else and wire it up properly to get a round PS/2 plug i can plug into a computer in the end?
how do i figure out what to solder where, where the hell do i find non-paywalled schematics of thinkpads?
