Mint XFCE. It's beginner friendly and won't break unless you do something retarded. UI design is straight from Windows and easy to get used to. The only gripe I have is that toggling themes and dark mode is done in like 3 separate programs. Ubuntu is spyware, fedora is mactard shit but works fine, popOS is even macshittier and will hold your hand every step of the way. Anything other than that, I have no idea. Unless you're Linus Sebastian and your IQ is sub room temp, Mint is fine.

9/10 Unbuntu docs and forums solutions work the same. I've been using Liquorix as my kernel and oibaf upstream graphics drivers for months and have had no issues. Again, Mint is just Ubuntu minus spyware and with arguably better DEs
