Like many of you, I have wondered for a long while now why this anime attracts troons so much.
One could simply say "its gay and about little girls so of course troons like it", but if this were the case Prisma Ilya would be more popular among troons.
Let us consider romcoms, the main focusgroupp of these shows are insecure, pathetic boys, and so their main characters are likewise complete pussies.
In order for a show to successfully pander to a focusgroup there must be a point of identification for that target audience, but trannies clearly do not identify with women in general even if they want to.
I think analyzing Puella Magi Madoka Magica will present us with a view into the mind of tranny.
Many a pseudointellectual trannylover will sing the praises of PMMM's themes when there are none.
The only consistent theme is melodrama; characters willingly self destruct for the sake of "emotional" scenes, and their emotions are quite flippant. Sayaka self destruct in about three episodes and to a normal viewer, her metamorphosis from a cheerful girl into an angry and depressed mess may seem rushed and underdeveloped.
However, to the BPD-riddles troon, who cannot help but self-destruct, this server as point of identification. Sayaka's cute exterior (troon superego), monologues (troon ego) and emotion/behaviors (troon id) work in tandem to create the ultimate tranny self-insert.
Note that every single character in the show has these behaviours/emotions at some point in the show, but Sayaka is the worst offender by far.
